Condolence: My sincere condolences to the family in your time of grief. Please take comfort in God’s loving promise of a resurrection of our loved ones who have passed away. At Isaiah 33:24 he tells us of the future when, no resident will say “I am sick.”
I recommend a very helpful article entitled “Help for those who grieve” on JW.ORG
Condolence: Vickie and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Dan was an awesome guy, and when he was with me, I knew I was always in good hands.
I saw something about sharing stories about Dan. I have one. His asthma was acting up, and he could barely talk above a whisper. But he had a whistle for emergencies. When I asked him if he could blow the whistle loud enough, he showed me he could. Darn near blew my eardrums out.
Dan and I spent a lot of time together talking. We became pretty good friends, in other words, more than just coworkers.
I wish we could be there for his service, but there are scheduling problems that will prevent us from being there. But do know we will be thinking of you and your family and keep you in our prayers.
I know you loved him. We did too. He will never be forgotten. He will always be remembered as "Dangerous Dan." That might not sound right, but trust me, it was a compliment foe him to be called that.
I pray that God will give you pace and strength, as you go through this time of sadness..It was my pleasure to know him, and you as well. He will be missed, by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
