Bradley (Brad) Dean Valdois, age 48, of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away at home after fighting a very courageous battle against the ALS disease.

He was born September 3, 1969 in Winfield, Kansas. He was the son of Jerry Valdois and Venicca McCauley. He was raised and attended school in Winfield, Kansas graduating in 1988. Brad then moved to Neosho, Missouri and attended Crowder Junior College and graduated from Missouri Southern in Joplin, Missouri in 1992. Over the years, Brad worked at Lohman Game Calls in Neosho, MO, Daisy in Rogers, Arkansas, H&G Marketing, Big Lake, Minnesota and Alexander Townsend in Olathe, Kansas. His career was in sales and sales management in the field of outdoor products. Brad was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed all types of outdoor sports and activities. Family time was cherished and enjoyed by all.

On June 19, 2009 he married Stephanie (Drennan Hoberecht). Brad and Stephanie made their home in Carl Junction, Missouri and attended Christ’s Church of Oronogo. Brad is survived by his wife, Stephanie, two daughters, Tallie and Tiffanie Valdois both of Joplin, Missouri, three step children, Alyx, Brendon, and Isaac Hoberecht of Carl Junction, Missouri. Also surviving are his parents Venicca McCauley and husband Walt of Diamond, Missouri , Jerry Valdois and wife Von of Neosho, Missouri, his sister, Valicca (Valdois) Bitler of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, two step sisters, Tammie Kowski of Seminole, Florida and Debbie Harris of Joplin, Missouri, and two step brothers Brian McCauley of Joplin, Missouri and Steven McCauley of Baxter Springs, Kansas and many well loved nieces and nephews.

Brad will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His memory will live on as they try to live out his love for others.

A celebration of Brad’s life will be Saturday, March 31 at 1:00p.m. at Christ’s Church of Oronogo. The family will receive friends Friday, March 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Mason-Woodard in Joplin, Missouri
