Joplin, Mo. David Bryan Smith, age 58, of Joplin, Mo. passed away at 6:35 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. David was born September 27, 1959 in Goodman, Mo. and had lived in Joplin most of his life. David had worked for 17 years as an Industrial Machinist before becoming disabled.

Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Boyer, St. Louis, Mo., his Mother, Clara Luce, Joplin, two sisters, Marcia Lassince and husband Andree, and Teresa Sue Smith, all of Joplin. He was preceded in death by a brother, Creighton Smith, and a sister, Connie Diane Smith.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin. Cremation will follow the visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory of Joplin, Mo.
