Obituary for Marjorie Mae Guthrie (Jent)
Marjorie was born on September 29, 1932 in Neosho, Mo. the daughter of Isiac and Nora Aline (Yetter) Jent. She has been a lifetime area resident and spent most of her days caring for her family as a homemaker.
She married Leroy Guthrie on August 8, 1948, he preceded her in death on November 9, 2003. Marjorie was also preceded by her parents and by four sisters, Deanie Griffith, Barbara Jent, Marianne Jent and Maudie Jent. Survivors include her son; Terry Guthrie of Joplin, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Belfast Cemetery in Neosho. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
