Mila Jo Evans, age 58, passed away March 14 with her loved ones at her side. Mila was born March 19, 1958 in Bartlesville, OK., daughter of the late Milo and Jo Ann Evans.
Mila was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, Aunt and Great Aunt. She enjoyed travelling, cooking and reading, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Mila retired as a Communications Consultant for Southwestern Bell/AT&T after a career spanning more than thirty years where she also served a period as a Union Steward.
Survivors include her brother, Randy Evans and wife Sylvia of Joplin, Mo., sister Susan Welch and husband Todd of North Richland Hills, TX. numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Janet Sumpter.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m.Thursday March 16, 2017 at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary

A Memorial Service will be held Friday March 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa, Ok.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association in Mila’s honor.
