Condolence From: Steve Combs
Condolence: Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones. I loved this man so much. There is a great Gaithers lyric that says knowing you'll be there makes it easy to go home. I miss all the wonderful Combs men who were not afraid to show their love for God. I am so thankful that I was placed in such a warm, loving godly family. I love you Uncle Loyd and will look forward to that day when we will meet again.

Condolence: Dear Family, I got to know Loyd many years ago when we ( Mike's Mower Repair) first started repairing his lawn mowers. He was a fine man and I always enjoyed visiting with him. RIP Loyd

Condolence: Dear Combs kids,
We are sorry about the passing away of Loyd. He was always quite interested in the music department of Joplin Schools. He and Olivia were great friends to us. I remember you, Tracy and Ronnie, at Oakland School. Our prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. Beck

Condolence From: Bill and Dana Sullivan
Condolence: Such a privilege to have known Mr. Combs as our friend and neighbor. One day when we were all doing yard work, he told us "when I get to Heaven, one of my first questions to God will be "why did you have to create that invasive vine?" That vine has and will forever bring that day back to mind with laughter. So it isn't such a bad vine after all. Our warmest condolences to the family, from the neighbors at 3201.

Condolence From: Dr. Al and Nancy Carnine
Condolence: Nancy and I have known Loyd since moving to the Joplin area in 1977. He was so dedicated to the school children and served the Board of Education (including President) much of his adult life. A wonderful Christian man who spent many years as a Sunday School teacher, he is now reunited with his loving wife Olivia. Thank you, Loyd for everything you did to promote God's Kingdom here on earth! Al and Nancy
