Judith “Judy” Ann Zbranek age 66 of Joplin, Mo. passed away Tuesday April 17, 2012, losing her battle with cancer.
Judy was born August 26, 1945 in Joplin, Mo. to Russell and Opal (Branson) Dickerson. She has been a lifetime area resident, Judy worked as a social worker for the State of Missouri retiring in 1992. She was a member of Christ’s Community United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Sean Zbranek of Joplin; one brother, Bill Dickerson of Courtenay, British Colombia and one grandson, Christopher Zbranek.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Following the visitation, a gathering will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Christ’s Community United Methodist Church. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Christopher Zbranek Education Fund in care of the mortuary.
