Condolence From: Mark Trepanier

Condolence: I've known Cherri and Gary since we arrived in Belgium in August 2000. I worked with Cherri from the time I arrived and we quickly became friends. Even though the Army sent us to different locations in the following years, we kept in touch. Our paths crossed again when Cherri was assigned to Fort Riley and I was already there. It was great to have such a wonderful friend so close once again.
I'm very saddened by Cherri's passing, but I'm glad to know she's no longer suffering the pain of her illness. My thoughts are with Gary and the rest of the family. They can take comfort in knowing that Cherri was well loved by those who knew her, and I'm honored and blessed to have had such a great friend in my life for the past 12 years. We had some great laughs together, and I know one day we will again. I miss you, Cherri.
